(Forgive my Grammatical mistakes)

On this trip I have learned a few things that are essential to a good scientist: number one ALWAYS TAKE NOTES, keep a clean area, and take consideration with what other people say to you. Anyways, in the start of this long long long trip that never seemed to ended I…, blah blah blah lets skip that, well the very first time I ever laid eyes on a water quality testing kit I thought it was a bunch of mambo gumbo because it seemed impossible to use with all these crazy things like ph, Ni, Iron, wait what iron in the water that’s crazy!!! (Don’t worry we were all there at one point)

I first tested ph, because that is the basic one, while I was running the test I figured out what ph ment on a scale from 0-14. It’s equal to 0 is no chemicals(bad) and 14 is a ton of chemicals(bad), and 7 is the middle so it’s the best(good). It’s weird huh like some chemicals are actually good for you, and that it’s really unhealthy to have no chemicals. well anyways as I was saying that, hold on what was I saying oh yeah the test(I have short term memory). It’s extremely fun to run a test on water you just have to be really careful with what you’re handling, like making really crisp measurements and not shaking to hard. When I was testing for the first time I never made any notes on the rain from last night, THE DATE, AND EVEN THE TIME!!! Yeah I really was a lazy butt back then, when I started to test more and my mom started to teach me more about how thing work in the science world. later on I started to do well but it just wasn’t as fun as I thought, hold on I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE PROJECT!!!

I guess it started around the fourth month of traveling or so, when I started to think about it I want to make it into a app because that it is a whole lot easier to access then a webpage. I still had roughly the same goal I have now just accepted then I want a awesome video game and a more advanced setup(Those things are hard to do:( ). when I was doing a google sprint for my project I was still trying to figure out what I was doing. many ideas came to mind like me sharing all the data for everyone, which means I’m traveling the world again! but that would be way too hard even if I had traveled the world again.

So I started to narrow in on this idea were other people enter data for themselves and for others, like testing the tap water in your area, and maybe even small water bodies. I decided on that and I took off with that idea because it was a cool concept and it was a awesome idea to get people thinking about the water in their neighborhood. While taking my tests I started to run tests on ph, ni, phs, do, ba; I chose these things because back then i thought they were the most useful ones to me.

when I got to the italian alps I really switched from app to website because that is really when I realized how crazy the app idea was. Still i was going overboard like I wanted to add a if fishable and swimmable because i thought that might be cool which it is just that it is hard to get a standard for those things. I really started to get a grip on the website when I was in morocco because I was starting to put things on the website.  I had started with a basic layout where there are two pages, one is a introduction the other is a map page where it shows the quality of the water in every place that I went too(does not mean I took a test).
When I finally started to master running test was at the  year mark because I started to take notes on everything that I did  besides what was happening during the test because I did not think it was necessary even to this day.
